This site has two interactive episodes and a game which allow you to express your creativity, even if you are not the most artistic of people.
The idea is simple, you start by drawing a stickman, and it develops from there into your very own animated story.

Snoop Dog features in Christmas Carol

Here is an alternative Christmas ad from the US for Adidas featuring 'Ebenezer' Snoop Dog and David Beckham as the Ghost of Christmas Present.

'Bahumbizzle: the Cautionary Tale of Ebenezer Snoop' is an animation rendered by Beavis and Butthead animator JJ Sedelmaier and is a bit long but worth a watch.

Great Animated Gif's

This work by filmmaker, graffiti artist, and photographer Erdal Inci, who lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey are very hypnotic.

He has been experimenting with cloned motion in video since 2004 and more recently Inci has converted several of these hypnotic videos into animated gifs.

Dumb way to die

Having recently featured a flight safety video on our blog we could not resist this public safety information animation for Melbourne Metro.

They wanted to point out some of the mindboggling acts of stupidity on and around their network that could have had fatal consequences. McCann turned to musician Ollie McGill and animator Julian Frost to create this memorable animated short called Dumb Ways To Die.

With 21 million views on YouTube it seems to have been popular.

We don't usually feature music videos on our blog but this one by the Moones for their single Better Energy is great fun.

If you thought that the UK was cold at the moment then this will make you feel warmer with icebergs, electric eels, frozen sailors and more.

The surprising dangers of fast food

This short animated film 'Happy Food' by Yum Yum is great fun and anyone who likes ketchup will be able to remember a time when they found themselves in this situation.

Luckily there would probably not have been any giant hot dogs around.

We featured one of their other films, Parallel Parking some time ago.

This amusing short animated film about life at Pringle of Scotland was created by artist David Shrigley to celebrate the return of the brand  to Milan Fashion Week in 2010. 

From a wet Scotalnd to 'manky wool', it will certainly make you smile.

Jersey, gorillas and cupcakes

This fun ad for Jersey Tourism France  combines video with animation in a real feel good format. A bit surreal at times but that adds to the charm.

It starts with a bored businessman being pulled into a colourful poster at a bus stop and then takes you on a tour around Jersey.

From gorillas to the white rabbit from Alice in Wonderland this certainly challenges the standard holiday ad treatment of beaches and sunshine - although the gorilla is seen heading off into the sunset on a golden beach with a surfer girl.

An ABC of monsters takes you back in time

Taking you back to those sleepless nights when monsters entered your dreams, 'ABC Monsters' by La Pompodour is a great short film that combines animation with sound effects to spine chilling effect.

A great compilation (and not really that frightening). Enjoy a bit of nostalgia.

Red Bull announces Canimation winners

If you have missed the publicity, Red Bull has been running a competition called 'Canimation' which searched for cutting edge animators to combine their imagination with the silver and blue can to produce some great short animated films.

The winners have just been announced and it is well worth having look at the great films. Below are just two of the winners.
