Blueprint magazine comments 'Hit by the smell and humidity of damp moss that covers the walls, the installation offers an immersive experience that takes you from the busy London street to a mossy garden escape. This warm, green environment invites you to look touch and move deeper into the space.

In its 8th year, DMY 2010 International Design Festival in Berlin showcases the best in young design talent from across Europe. Design Milk's Berlin-based journalist Marie Sophie Bekker has been looking at some of the most inspirational and innovative designs.

The Think Tank appointed as Formica Group’s PR and Media Agency for Europe
Having worked with the UK business for more than six years, and managing ad hoc projects in Europe during this time, The Think Tank has been appointed as Formica Group’s PR and Media Agency for Europe.
A successful programme of activities has been run over this period in the UK, including ongoing media relations. Now, The Think Tank has developed a PR strategy to promote Formica Group’s activities in Europe supporting individual territories with events, case studies and corporate/product news. The PR programme is led by Think Tank Director, Samantha Dawe.
A partnership with designer Tom Dixon for a European Roadshow, showcasing new products and designs, has also been developed. The Roadshow began in Italy, has taken in Spain and Portugal, and now heads to Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland.
The Think Tank will continue to support Formica Group in the UK across a range of marketing communications activities.

The Think Tank will co-ordinate activity and help us ensure our message reaches our target audiences in a number of our key European territories.”
The Think Tank will also manage all media planning across Europe to provide a consistent and targeted approach, focusing on specific media in key territories and pan-European titles.

Creating real world scenes from corrugated cardboard
Artist Don Lucho uses corrugated material to create entire 3-D worlds depicting real life scenarios. His sculptures have been featured all over the streets of Santiago, Chile including crashed cars, fallen airplanes and living spaces.

Latest Boutique Hotel opens in Singapore
Singapore's newest boutique hotel is the The Club by Ministry of Design. Situated in the uber chic Club Street conservation area it has 22 unique rooms, a rooftop skybar with alfresco deck and a destination F&B venue with a tapas bar on the ground floor. Colin Seah, Design Director says, “Searching to ground the hotel in the context of Singapore as well as the historically rich conservation area of Club Street and Ann Siang Hill, we drew its inspiration from 2 sources.” “The first is Singapore’s colonial past, which we have made modern tongue-in-cheek references to through art installation like features such as an larger-than-life statue of Raffles with his head in the clouds as well as through some key furniture pieces and artifacts.
