Copenhagen adopts mandatory green roof policy

Green-Roofs-CopenhagenW.jpgCopenhagen has adopted a mandatory green roof policy in its desire to become a carbon neutral city by 2025. The new policy makes vegetation and soil a mandatory obligation in planning and it covers all roofs with less than a 300 pitch as well as the refurbishment of older roofs. Green Roofs Copenhagen.jpg’Copenhagen has set itself the ambitious target of becoming the world’s first carbon neutral capital by 2025. To meet this ambitious goal we need ambitious measures.
