Meet mini-Vinnie

Mini VinnieSafety films seem to be having a run online at the moment - not that festive.

For those in the UK that have seen Vinnie Jones performing CPR in the latest British Heart Foundation campaign then now meet 'Mini Vinnie'.

This version of the ad is aimed at children and features 'hands-only' CPR to a lifeless body to the tune of the Bee Gees' Stayin' Alive.

A serious message but also quite funny.

Humorous flight safety videos from Delta

Delta AirlinesFor anyone that has seen too many in-flight safety presentations and has experienced the non-inflating life-jacket then these two new safety videos for Delta Airlines might put a smile on your face.

They are serious in parts but also include many humerous visual gags that will keep your attention.

Great work but have to ask whether this distracts from a serious safety message for those that haven't seen it before.

Promoting Safety in the Oil and Gas Sector

Permasense PR SM.jpgA new technical development, a corrosion monitoring system, developed by Permasense Ltd, provided The Think Tank with an opportunity to create press coverage in the international oil and gas trade press and raise the profile of this new company.

Permasense wanted to create a dialogue with the major International and National Oil Companies (IOCs and NOCs).  Its corrosion monitoring system, developed in partnership with Imperial College London and BP, heralds a new age of frequent, repeatable wall thickness monitoring giving previously unavailable insights into the condition and capability of critical oil and gas assets.

The Think Tank helped draft a press material and pitched the story ....
